Anne M. (O'Brien) Kelley

Anne M. (O’Brien) Kelley, age 94, of Hingham, formerly of Milton, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on February 1, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Robert G. Kelley. Devoted mother of Robert F. Kelley and his wife Paula of Westboro; Nancy Hanley and her husband Thomas of Avon, NJ.; Mary Ellen Driscoll and her husband Daniel of Hull. Loving grandmother of Daniel, Sarah, Elizabeth, Meredith, and Grace. Sister of Dorothy O’Connell of Cohasset and the late Charles, Eleanor, and Paul. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and a large extended family.

Anne worked for many years for New England Telephone, now Verizon. She was an avid reader and was most happy spending time with family.

Anne’s family would like to thank the caring staff at Harbor House Nursing Home in Hingham for their devotion and kindness to Anne.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Anne during visiting hours on Monday, Feb. 6, 2017 from 9-11 am in McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, 160 So. Main St. (across from St. Anthony Church), Cohasset, MA. 02025 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in St. Anthony Church. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury. In lieu of flowers, donations to honor Anne may be made to the Carmelites of Boston, 61 Mt. Pleasant St., Roxbury, MA. 02119 or a charity of one’s choice.
