We are so very sorry to hear the news of Charlie's passing. We thought the world of Charlie and had so many great times together. Cannot let this moment pass without sharing one of Charlie's favorite stories: Charlie and John (before ever knowing each other) had played a big High School Thanksgiving Day football game against each other in NJ. Charlie reminded John on a very regular basis that Charlie's team won that day!!!!!! All who were lucky enough to know Charlie Farinick were certainly blessed in life. Much Love to his wonderful family.

My sincere condolences to Charlie's family. I knew Charlie from IHHS in Oakland, we reconnected many years later through facebook. My favorite recent memories are photos of him on the beach, with only the sand, water and his feet to be seen. He seemed to be enjoying very minute. May God's comfort and peace surround you.

I'm so sorry to hear of Charlie's passing. I had the pleasure of working with Charlie during his tenure with the Boosters and Youth Football. I always had a great love and respect for Charlie and all that he did for Norwell Sports. You will be missed Charlie. I'm sorry I'll miss the time at Tinkers Son but my thoughts are with all of his beautiful children and family. The Hoffman Family. Jeannie, Mark, Adam,Emily and Katherine

My deepest heartfelt sympathies to Charlie & his family. I will always remember growing up in NJ of his warm compassion, love of music and smiles. I last saw him at our last HS class of 73 reunion. Despite his own concerns, he always had a SMILE &I tried his best to see you had one too!

God Bless & now may you be in Gods Peace!

Charlie , This is so heartbreaking especially at Christmas time . Just don't know what to say . We ve done alot in my 45 years . I remember looking through pictures & found one of me sitting on your shoulders as we were hiking in Mahwah in the Ramapo Mountain . We rode around Oakland you showed me where all your friends lives nearby our house , You came for a couple family reunions we had , the kids had such a blast in the pool . I LOVED swimming with them & so much more . I miss those days. We ve had our words together but we got through it Not gonna be the same without you . Wished you guys came down more often on thr holidays . We had a great time at Steven s wedding I was able to catch up with them the night after I flew into Boston . It was great seeing everyone at the wedding. I will always treasure my 40 th birthday party & I was so glad you & Andrew made effort to come down here for it . It was one of the best weekends of my life I will treasure . Just wished you would be around for my 50 th . ( Dont rush it David ) . But Im sure you & Mom will be watching my 50 th from heaven . I will always remember when you showed me around Boston & went to Cheers for a couple beers before you took me to Logan to fly home . I got to sit in Norm s barstool which ill treasurr that moment . I will treasure the times we saw each other , went out for drinks , & whatever else . If I get up your way to see the kids I'll have to get to Cheers with them & we 'll have dinner & drinks in your memory . Thanks for all the memories, 2 nd big brother. Love you SOOOO much . You will be missed terribly RIP . Love you Charlie . Can t believe we re going through another loss . This last year hasn't been easy for the family with taking care of Mom & Dad , you with your kidney situation etc . Hasn't been easy this last year.
I will never forget the lines I gave you which were your popular sayings, GREEEEEEAAAAAAAAT GREAT , THAT S GREAT JUST GREAT !!!!!! KNOCK IT OFF BACK THERE !!! FOR ALL THE THINGS MOM DID FOR YOU , YOU COULDN T DO ANYTHING FOR HER ??? THAT S GREAT , JUST GREAT !!!!!!!!!
