Dorothy J. (Driver) Leptich

December 31, 2016

Dorothy J. (Driver) Leptich, of Hull, passed away on December 31, 2016. Beloved wife of Edward J. Leptich. Devoted mother of Colleen L. Bridges and husband Robert of Virginia, Jennifer A. Knobloch and husband, Scott of Hull, David E. Leptich and wife Stephanie of New Hampshire. Sister of Frances Weber of Toronto, Canada, Howard Driver of Montreal, Canada and the late Marvin Driver, Norman Driver, and Muriel Harris. Loving grandmother of Amy and Ashley Bridges of Virginia, Nicole Storey and husband Tim of So. Carolina, Colby, Matthew and Carter Knobloch of Hull, Edward and wife Debby Leptich of No. Carolina, and Christian and Abigail Leptich of New Hampshire. Great Grandmother to Isabel, Declan, Madeline and Emerson Storey of So. Carolina.

Born and raised in Montreal, Dorothy lived many places before settling in Hull. Blessed with the gift of wanderlust, she traveled the world but for her, there was no place more exciting than being home, surrounded by those that she loved. She was an avid gardener, an active member of the Hull Garden Club and always encouraged those around her to "bloom where they were planted". She was an accomplished gourmet cook and nothing made her happier than having a full table to feed. Her Catholic faith was of paramount importance. She was an active parishioner at St. Ann/St. Mary Parish in Hull, where she attended daily Mass, and was a volunteer at WellSpring. True to her nurturing nature, she helped many people find a place to call home when she began work as a real estate agent at Jack Conway, later working with Coldwell Banker. She was recognized with numerous awards for her outstanding sales records and service. She lived her life to the fullest and with a heart full of kindness. She will be missed and fondly remembered by her family and countless friends.
