Helen T. (Patrolia) Madge

Helen T. (Patrolia) Madge, age 81, of Kingston, formerly of Cohasset, passed away peacefully with loving family by her side on April 21, 2012. Helen was the longtime companion of Lenny Davis of Kingston. She was the wife of the late Edwin J. Madge, and the loving mother of Victoria E. Nutile of Venice, FL., Valerie Simpson and her husband, Craig of Scituate, and Peter K. Madge and his wife Traci of Marshfield and the late Jimmy Madge. Helen was the loving sister of Ann Harris of Florida, Jack Patrolia of Marshfield, Ted Patrolia of Cohasset, and Michael Patrolia of Cohasset and the late Mary Greenhalgh, J. Nelson Patrolia. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Helen was born and raised in Cohasset. She owned and operated her own Hair Styling Salon in Hyde Park from 1956 to 1962, and then returned to Cohasset. Helen worked as a hairdresser at Ocean Manor and Cardigan Nursing Home for many years.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, April 26, 2012 at 10 am in St. Anthony Church, Cohasset. Visiting hours Wednesday, April 25 from 4-7 pm in McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, 1 Summer St. (across from St. Anthony Church), Cohasset. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Mothers Against Drunk Drivers, 15 New England Executive Park, Burlington, MA 01803.
