Marion Hemenway Morgan

Marion Hemenway Morgan, born on August 24, 1920, died on November 18, 2016. She was a former resident of Holliston, Yarmouth Port, and Scituate, MA. Marion was the wife of the late Carlton B Morgan. Born and educated in Framingham, MA, was a graduate of Framingham High School and the Framingham Union Hospital School of Nursing where she worked as a surgical nurse until her marriage when they moved to Holliston, built their home and raised their family. She was an honorary member of the Holliston Historical Society, the Garden Club, and was active in scouting programs.

Marion is survived by three sons: Robert C. and wife Marilyn of E. Brunswick, NJ; Allan R. and wife Jodie of Mt Pleasant, SC; John B. and wife Gwen of Scituate, MA, and one daughter: Judith Arnold and husband Woody of East Amherst, NY; ten grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. She was also the mother of Janice Loraine, deceased.

A celebration of her life will be held at a future date, when family can be together.  Contributions may be made in her memory to the Holliston Historical Society, 547 Washington St, Holliston, MA 01746. Burial will be private at Lake Grove cemetery in Holliston, MA.
