Michael P Palm

Michael Paul Palm, age 65, a life long resident of Scituate died peacefully surround by family on July 24 2015. Son of the late Richard and Marie Palm. Beloved father of Michael Palm Jr of Scituate and wife Rachael, Daniel Tibbetts of Scituate and the late Loretta Tibbetts of Scituate. Loving brother of Richard "Mega" Palm, Stephen "Weed" Palm, Paul "Sprouty" Palm, Patty Ringler, Kathleen O'Donnell, Jon Palm and the late David Palm all of or formerly of Scituate . He was the adoring grandfather of Brinley Rose Palm. 

Michael graduated in 1968 from scituate high school where he was a three letter athlete in football, hockey and golf. Though 
Michael had a great love of all sports  he especially loved golf and became captain of the golf team in high school and throughout his life that love did not change. He was a member of Hatherly country club for many years and when he wasn't working as  a dedicated member of the Boston Pipefitters local Union 537 for 44 years of his life you could find him on the golf course. After retirement he enjoyed his summer days out by his pool and having his morning coffee watching the boats come in at scituate harbor. The last year and a half he was able to spend everyday with his granddaughter Brinley whom he adored.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, Aug. 1, 2015 at 10 am in St. Mary of the Nativity Church, Scituate Harbor. Visiting hours Friday, July 31, 2015 from 4-8 pm in McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, 160 So. Main St. (across from St. Anthony Church), Cohasset. Interment St. Mary Cemetery Scituate. In lieu of flowers, donations to honor Michael may be made to the South Shore VNA, 30 Reservoir Park Dr., Rockland, MA. 02370.
