I worked at Bingham Dana & Gould and my work station was situated near Dick's office. I had the deepest respect for him so I always addressed him as "Mr. Leggat". I have great memories of those years. I enjoyed his laughter, his work ethic, conversations and I loved his bow ties. My deepest sympathy to you all in your loss.

hello. I was sorry to hear of Dicks passing.
My father Robert Hallisey and Dick were good friends at Bingham Dana.
One of my fondest memories as a child was going to your house in Cohasset for the summer party. Everyone dressed in their summer finest enjoying the beautiful ocean view! These were very special times for me!
My father passed about 5 years ago.
My condolences to you all

Uncle Dick, we are missing your smile already, as well as your smirk when you would raise your voice and push forth a kernal of truth cloaked in a strong "Baahston" accent. You exuded the present and the here and now, living life to the fullest without regrets. I am going to do my very best to carry on your fire hydrant flow of enthusiasm when meeting someone for the first time.

As we originally bonded tight with our love of gooseberry jam, I will always think of you when I carefully pick the dried blossom and stem of each berry prior to cooking. You are free of the mind and body that failed you the last couple years, so get back at it Uncle Dick! I hope there are many gooseberries awaiting you...
