Theresa Scannell Keefe

Theresa Scannell Keefe, 91, of Sandwich, formerly of Norwell, peacefully passed away on August 28, 2016 surrounded by her family who loved and cherished her. Theresa was married to her much loved late husband, Paul Keefe, for 62 years. She is survived by their eight children, Janet Parnes, Paula Keefe, Carolyn Thompson, Mary Keefe, Nancy Nash, Ned Keefe, Peter Keefe, and Tom Keefe and also by her sister-in-law Nancy Crowley. Tee will be lovingly missed by her nine grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

Theresa was born in Hyde Park, attended Notre Dame Academy and later graduated from Emmanuel College. After working at the Boston Athenaeum, she married Paul and raised their family in Norwell.

A private family mass will be held to celebrate Theresa’s life.
