Directions To Cohasset
From Boston and the North
Take the South East Expressway, Rt. 93, to the junction of Rt.128/95 and Rt. 3. Keep to the left to be able to take Rt. 3 South to Exit 14, Rockland, Cohasset & Rt. 228.
At the end of the ramp Home Depot will be across the street.
Turn Left at the stoplight onto Rt. 228. Proceed .6 mile to Queen Anne’s Corner, which is the junction of Rt. 53 and 228.
Proceed straight through the intersection so you will be able to continue on Rt. 228 North, for 5.6 miles. You will now be at the junction of Rt. 228 and Rt. 3A.
Turn Right onto Rt. 3A South for 3.3 miles to the third stoplight. You are at the corner of Rt. 3A and Beechwood St. Note that you will pass through a set of traffic lights with the Cohasset Super Stop and Shop on your left two sets of lights prior to the lights at Beechwood St. You see an Exxon gas station at this corner.
Turn Left onto Beechwood St. for .7 miles. At the end of the Beechwood St. there is a Stop sign and, at the present time a Detour sign with an arrow pointing to the left. Turn Left onto South Main St. and travel .4 of a mile. St Anthony’s Catholic church, a red brick building, will be straight ahead and The McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home will be on your immediate right at One Summer St.; across the street from the church.
Parking is available on the street and in the parking lot of St. Anthony’s Church, at the rear, behind the church.
From Cape Cod and the South
Drive North on Route 3 to Exit 14 for Rt. 228. At the end of the exit ramp Turn Right at the stoplight. This is Rt. 228 North. Follow it for .5 of a mile to the junction of Rt. 228 and Rt. 53.
Follow Rt 228 North for approximately 7 miles to the junction of Rt 228 and Rt. 3A, Follow Rt. 3A South for 3.3 miles to the third stoplight. Coming from the South follow Rt 3A North to the corner of Beechwood St. and Rt. 3A. An Exxon gas station will be located at this corner and be on your right.
Turn Left onto Beechwood St. coming from the North.
Turn right onto Beechwood St. coming from the South.
