Biography
Robert C. “Scotty” Scott, of Scituate, formerly of Needham, age 79, passed away on Sunday February 14, 2010 at South Shore Hospital surrounded by family. Mr. Scott was the loving husband of 56 years of Ann (Smith) and the beloved father of Kathleen Sullivan of Plymouth; Elizabeth Shepardson and her husband, Herb of West Hartford, CT.; Robert C., Jr. and his wife, Leah of Scituate; Paul and his wife, Cindy of Uxbridge, MA; Gregory and his wife, Nancy of Hingham; John of Marshfield; Jeffrey and his wife, Diane of Plymouth; James of Scituate; and Matthew and his wife, Julianne of West Hartford, CT. Robert was the grandfather of 14 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He was the brother of Barbara Scott of Sandwich, MA and the late John “Jack” Scott and the late Elizabeth Clifton.
“Scotty” was a former employee of General Motors, retiring in 1988. He served in the US Marine Corps.
Visiting Hours
Visiting hours Thursday Feb. 18 from 4-8 pm at the McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home (across from St. Anthony's Church), Cohasset.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 am on Friday, Feb. 19, 2010 in St. Mary of the Nativity Church, Scituate Harbor.
