I was saddened to hear of Barry's passing. I enjoyed playing football with Barry at the University Of Maine. He was such a fun loving guy. Prayers go out to Barry's family.

Brother Barry...As a young Boy, the baby of the 5 of Us, I looked up to all my siblings. You, however, we're indeed my Idol, the Athlete and Character I arrived to be. You pushed me Athletically like no Professional Trainer ever could, you took me under your Wing, you protected me. I followed you to UMaine, and although every Brother in such a situation tries to build his own Identity, the Shadow you Cast was always too large to escape. I'll forever be "Barry's little Brother," and for that, I'm forever grateful. We swam, we sweat, we always Lead instead of Followed as Dad always told us to, but, most of all, WE LAUGHED! Boy did We ever! Your infectious laugh will be with me always, and the outpouring of Love & Sadness this week is the ultimate tribute to a Love One Lost. Although I always say the 3 days my 3 Beautiful Daughters were born will forever be the 3 greatest days of my Life, the experience I've had these past 4 days reading, texting, and talking to those who loved you, is absolutely the most surreal event I could only have dreamed of. Thank you, Barry Joseph Buckley, for everything We shared, it will for eternity be a blessing to be able to call myself your little Brother.
Until we meet again, thank you, God Bless you, and I Love You, Rock.❌⭕
Paul J Buckley, and my beloved Paige, Amanda, Lauren, and my beloved Dog, Cooper.

Paul, my deepest condolences to you and your family. Barry was an unforgettable character. A fierce competitor I'm glad I can call a teammate. As always before I will smile whenever I think of Buck.
