Brian W. Clark, age 41, of San Diego, CA, formerly of Norwell, passed away in a tragic car accident in Palm Springs, CA on November 27, 2018. Born and raised in Norwell, Brian was a 1995 graduate of Norwell High School and moved to San Diego 20 years ago after falling in love with the area while on vacation. He recently left a long career in banking to realize his entrepreneurial spirit and dream of owning his own company. Incredibly generous, but often stubborn, Brian was a skilled, clear communicator; one often knew exactly where they stood with Brian. He often spoke volumes without ever saying a word. Brian worked tirelessly to achieve everything he set his mind to and loved to share the rewards of his success, especially with those less fortunate.
Brian is survived by his husband, Rick Mancha, Retired Fire Fighter Cal Fire Temecula, and their two dogs, Bella, Bandit, and in spirit his beloved late Boston Terrier, Tag. He was the loving son of Bill and Paula (Poirier) Clark of Middleboro, formerly of Norwell and the beloved brother of Christine Clark of Halifax. Brian was the grandson of the late Lewis and Sarah Clark and the late Albert and Dorothy Poirier. He is survived by many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. He will be deeply missed, but lovingly remembered by all.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Brian’s life during visiting hours on Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2018 from 5-8 pm in McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, 30 Central St. (off Rt 123, near State Police Barracks), Norwell Center. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2018 at 10:30 am in the funeral home. Interment Stetson Meadows Cemetery, Norwell. In lieu of flowers, donations to honor Brian may be made to Operation Santa Paws, 275 Saint Joseph Ave, Long Beach, CA. 90803 (www.hautedogs.org) or to an animal charity or shelter of one’s choice.
