Estelle M Brennan

Estelle M. Brennan, 92, passed away peacefully in Scituate on Friday, 10/20/2017. Born in Charlestown, she lived in Jamaica Plain until moving to Scituate in 2011 to be closer to family. Daughter of the late James H. Brennan and Katherine Mahoney Brennan, she was predeceased by her brother James H. Brennan, Jr. and wife Eileen. She is survived by her nieces and nephews Catherine Lackey and Patricia Opitz of Scituate, Maureen Bennett of FL, James H. Brennan III of Marshfield, and Michael Brennan of WA as well as 4 grandnieces and 4 grandnephews. Estelle was a proud graduate of Notre Dame Academy, Regis College, and Boston University. She taught in the Somerville Schools for 42 years. After retirement, she volunteered in the Faulkner Hospital Gift Shop. She was an avid Red Sox fan and enjoyed following politics. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, October 27, 2017 at 10 am in St. Anthony Church, 10 Summer Street, Cohasset, MA. 02025. Interment Holyhood Cemetery, Brookline, MA.
