Janet Marie (Balboni) Conboy

Janet Marie Conboy, age 79, of Norwell, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on April 29, 2018. Devoted wife of Paul T. Conboy and loving mother of Allison Guerriero of Kingston, Stephanie Conboy of Norwell, Thomas Anthony Conboy of Phoenix, AZ, and the late Donna Marie Burns (Aisha).  Adored grandmother of L. Anthony Guerriero and fiancé Karena Marcel of Rockland, Paul Thomas Guerriero of Kingston, Luna Faith Conboy of NH, Xavier Shoemaker, USAF of MO, Zachary Thomas Conboy and Mina Grace Conboy both of MT. Beloved sister of Vondelle Healey of NC, and Frederick Balboni of FL. Loving aunt of Debbie Goguen, Michele Doval, Judy Peckham-Robidoux, Jacqueline Goguen Katsinis, David Goguen, Michael Goguen, Mark and Christopher Balboni and the late Karen Goguen. Also survived by many great nieces and nephews and former sister in law Ann Rein.

Janet was a very talented craftswoman who loved knitting, sewing and creating her own clothing. She worked as a bookkeeper and programmer for Arthur D. Little CO. She was an avid world traveler and sailor. Janet was devoted to her Christian Fellowship. Her greatest love was her family, who loved her dearly and she will be remembered fondly as the greatest “Nanner” ever.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Janet during visiting hours on Friday, May 4, 2018 from 4-8 pm in McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, 30 Central St. (off Rt. 123, near State Police Barracks), Norwell Center. A Memorial Service will celebrated on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 11 am in the Cushing Center, 673 Main St., Norwell Center. If desired, donations to honor Janet may be made in her name to charities for pancreatic cancer, diabetes, or down syndrome.
