Margaret W. Casey of Duxbury, formerly of Cohasset, Scituate and Westwood passed away peacefully at home on July 12 at age 95. Daughter of Joseph F. and Dorothy A. White of Cambridge. She attended the Cambridge High and Latin School, Regis College and the Katherine Gibbs School. She served in the WAVES during WW II, where she was an Aerial Gunnery instructor. Later she worked at the League of Catholic Women at 1 Arlington St., Boston. She married the love of her life, Edward M. Casey of Allston in 1949. An associate lawyer at Bingham, Dana and Gould, Ed went on to become a senior partner there and was also Vice-President of the Boston Bar when he passed away in 1977. After moving to Cohasset in 1983, Margaret worked at the Cohasset Senior Center as Treasurer and later as Program Director, bringing in speakers and organizing cultural trips to Boston. In 2005 she moved to The Village in Duxbury where she lived her remaining days. Loving mother of Edward (Christine) Casey, Elizabeth Casey, David (Anne) Casey and Janet Casey as well as the late Annie Casey (Peter McCue) and Brian Casey. Adored Grandmother to Leyden Yaeger, Bartholomew Casey, Melissa McCue, Emily (Michael) Phillips Crugnale, Samuel (Nicole) Casey and Clara Casey. She is also survived by many wonderful, kind, and loving nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to a 10 AM wake at McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, 160 South Main Street, Cohasset and an 11AM Mass with a luncheon to follow, both across the street at St. Anthony's, 10 Summer St, Cohasset on Thursday July 20th.
