Michael Eugene Williams

Michael “Mike” E. Williams of Norwell, Massachusetts, formerly of Dorchester, passed away at the age of 63 on Thursday, October 18, 2018, after a battle with lung disease. Mike passed on the same day as his sole sibling, Andy Williams, of Taunton. Born in Boston on July 12, 1955, Mike was the son of Dorothy (Eugene) and the late Girard Williams. After serving in the Air Force, he graduated with a degree in business from UMass Boston. Mike worked as a real estate broker and appraiser. He founded his own real estate appraisal company doing business throughout Massachusetts.  You might have seen Mike at the Quincy YMCA playing basketball or lifting weights, raising his chickens, catching turtles, and listening to blues music. A true family man, Mike leaves behind his loving wife, Joyce, their three daughters Jessie, Kristy, and Ryanne as well as his mother, many cousins, and family members.

Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of Mike’s life during a visiting hour at 11am on Friday, October 26th at the McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, 30 Central St. (off Rt. 123, near State Police Barracks), Norwell Center. A celebration of life service will begin at noon, followed by the committal service at Stetson Meadows Cemetery, Stetson Shrine Rd, Norwell. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mass Audubon.
