Nancy Stiles Woodworth

Nancy Stiles Woodworth, age 76, of Dennis, formerly of Norwell and Hyannis, died suddenly on October 27, 2017. Loving wife of the late Clyde Edwin Allen Woodworth, Jr. Beloved mother of Jennifer Woodworth Sulc and husband Derek of Hanover, MA, and Mark Allen Woodworth and wife Robin of South Glastonbury, CT. Adoring grandmother of A.J., Zach, and Isabella Sulc and Lily and Dylan Woodworth. Sister of Curtis Henry Stiles III and wife Marilyn of Brookline and Orleans, MA. Sister-in-law of Doris Woodworth Friedman and husband Larry of Northampton, MA. Daughter of the late Paul Whitney Stiles and Alice Gertrude (Askew) Stiles of Hyannis. Dear aunt of Jane, Cindy, Paul, and Barry Stiles. Also survived by many cousins and numerous close friends.

Nancy was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved cooking, traveling, antiquing, and visiting Corporation Beach and Scargo Lake. She gave much of her time to others through volunteering at the Family Pantry of Cape Cod, Cape Cod Baseball League, the Jimmy Fund, Dennis Democratic Town Committee, Dennis Public Library, and the Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce. Nancy was incredibly passionate about Wesleyan University Baseball, as well her beloved Patriots and Red Sox. A graduate of Barnstable High School, she loved her native Cape Cod and spending time with friends, especially at the Merc. She worked for years in the telephone industry and at many small shops on the Cape, including The Lilac Hedge and the Beach Barn, and was very involved at Dennis Union Congregational Church.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Nancy during memorial visiting hours on Thursday, Nov. 2, 2017 from 3-7 p.m. in the McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, 30 Central Street, Norwell, Mass. (off Rt. 123, near State Police Barracks in Norwell Center). A Memorial Service will be celebrated on Friday, Nov. 3, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Dennis Union Congregational Church, 713 Main St., Dennis, Mass. 02368. Interment Private.
