Paula (Carlson) Sherbertes

Paula Sherbertes, age 71, of Whitman, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2019 after a brief illness. Daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (Mandarano) Carlson, Paula was the devoted and loving mother of Danielle Sherbertes of Whitman, Ryan Sherbertes and his wife Erin of Cohasset, Adam Sherbertes and fiancé Rebecca Hopkins of Middleboro. Loving “Nae” of Alexis, Sienna, and Colby Sherbertes all of Cohasset. Sister of Thomas Carlson and wife Karen, Carol Vachon and husband Phil, all of Burlington, and Richard Carlson of Martha’s Vineyard. Sister in law of Maura Shone Carlson of Burlington. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Paula was a graduate of Matignon High School and attended Boston State Teacher’s College. She was a member of the Woman’s Sodality of the Holy Ghost Church in Whitman. She loved arts, crafts, and baking, but was particularly happy with coca cola, a lobster roll, and at the beach. Above all else, Paula took the most joy in spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Friends and family are invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday, Nov. 7, 2019 from 4-7 pm in McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, 160 So. Main St. (across from St. Anthony Church), Cohasset followed by a funeral service in the funeral home. Interment Private.
