Roberta Fisher Hall, 89, formerly of Scituate, MA, passed away on September 19, 2018 after a brief illness. Loving mother of Merry Vigneau and her husband, Grady of Stowe, VT, David Hall and his wife Sue of Plattsburgh, NY and Tracy Dieselman and her husband, Jay of Scituate, MA. Bobbie loved her mime grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Her husband of 48 years, David Billings Hall predeceased Bobbie in 1998.
Always keeping busy, Bobbie was a charter member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church and was instrumental in the construction of the existing church. She founded the Dutton Nursery school at St. Luke’s and served on the Vestry. She taught swimming lessons in her pool, sold real estate for the Jack Conway Company and finally found her passion in making Nantucket baskets and teaching hundreds of students to do the same.
Bobbie and Dave spent many years sailing the waters around Scituate in their Wianno and skiing the slopes of Tenney Mountain in NH. Their wonderful marriage was an inspiration to their family and friends. Bobbie was also fascinated with her family’s history and traced her lineage back to Charlemagne prior to the internet. She was a lifetime member of the D.A.R. and the Pilgrim John Howland Society
