Theresa M (McLaughlin) Bartolucci

Theresa M. (McLaughlin) Bartolucci, age 90, of Norwell, formerly of Boston, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2018, surrounded by her family. Theresa was the devoted wife of 61 years to the late Santo J. “Sam” Bartolucci and the beloved mother of Nancy M. Armstrong and her husband Thomas H. Armstrong of Duxbury and Debra A. Bowman and her husband Dr. Arthur J. Bowman, Jr. of Norwell. She was the loving grandmother of Jeffrey and Andrew Armstrong, Amy, AJ, Thomas, Christopher, and Marc Bowman, and the adoring great-grandmother of Oliver and Parker Massey, Charlie and Benton Armstrong, and Henry Morrison-Bowman. Theresa was the sister of the late Noreen Gaulin, Catherine Clark, Margaret Hansen, Richard McLaughlin, James McLaughlin, and William Hartnett. 

Theresa, a longtime secretary, was a dedicated mother and grandmother and it was her family that brought her the most joy in life. She was a daily communicant of St. Helen’s Church in Norwell, a member of the Catholic Women’s Club of Weymouth, as well as the Women’s Sodality of Sacred Heart in Weymouth. 

Family and Friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Wednesday, August 8, 2018, from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. in the McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, 30 Central Street (off Rt. 123, near State Police Barracks), Norwell Center. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, Aug. 9, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Helen’s Church, 383 Washington St (Rt.53), Norwell. Interment to immediately follow at Washington Street Cemetery, Norwell. If desired, donations to honor Theresa may be made to the Norwell Council on Aging.
