Thomas F. O'Keefe

Thomas F. O'Keefe, age 82, of Scituate, formerly of Hingham, peacefully at home with family on July 14, 2010. Thomas was a graduate Boston College, Class of 1952 and a veteran of the US Navy, WWII, serving on the USS Segundo. He was an active 30-year member of the US Power Squadron. Mr. O'Keefe was also a retired Vice President, New England Telephone Company.

Thomas was the loving husband of 59 years of Frances (Healey) and the beloved father of Joseph and his wife, Lisa of Glastonbury, CT., Thomas and his wife, Joni of Scituate, Kevin and his wife, Kathy of Scituate, James and his wife, Emily of Hingham, Nancy McElaney and her husband, Jack of Austin, TX., Mary Silveira and her husband, Genefson of Plymouth, Maureen Akhouzine and her husband, Mohammed of Quincy, John and his wife, Norma of Scituate, Paul and his wife, Jocelyn of Marshfield and the late Christopher and his former wife, Janet of Winterville, NC. Mr. O'Keefe was the loving grandfather of 25 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Service Information

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, July 24, 2010 at 10 am in Resurrection Church, 1057 Main St. (Rt 228), Hingham, MA.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Mr. O'Keefe's memory may be made to the Hospice of the South Shore, 100 Baystate Dr., Braintree, MA. 02184.

Interment V.A. Mass National Cemetery, Bourne, MA at a later date.
