Warren A. Yanarella, age 87, of Norwell, died peacefully on June 23, 2018 surrounded by the love of his family and friends. He had been in declining health with Parkinson’s Disease for many years. Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Warren M. Yanarella and Louisa DiCarlo Yanarella. Warren was the beloved husband of Phyllis L. Yanarella. They were married for 62 years. He is also survived by his son,Dean M. Yanarella and wife Barbara of Rockland, his daughter, Lynn L. Kopas of North Attleboro, two granddaughters, four great grandchildren, his sister, Joan Bohmbach of Naples, Fl. as well as several nieces, a nephew, dear neighbors and friends. His younger brother, Michael E. Yanarella predecreased him in 1996.
His love of cars and trains was only surpassed by his love of all things sweet. He was employed at Best Chevrolet, Hingham, MA. For 35 years as an auto mechanic and later in life a delivering auto parts. He retired when was 80 years old.
A Celebration of Life will be celebrated on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at 2 pm in the United Church of Christ, 460 Main St., Norwell, MA. 02061. In lieu of flowers, donations to honor Warren may be made to the UCC Norwell, 460 Main St., Norwell, MA. 02061 or to the Fidelis Hospice, 25 Railroad Sq., Haverhill, MA. 01832.
