Adell Bridget (Collins) Powell, formerly of Sydney, N.S., Canada and Somerville and Norwell, MA, died Oct. 20, 2010.

She was the wife of the late Edward Powell who died in 1985. Devoted mother of Detrie and her husband Edward Vacha of Scituate, MA and son Allan and his wife Joan of Chelmsford, MA. Loving grandmother of Edward, Allan and Powell Vacha and Jillian Marcucci and her husband David and John Powell and his wife Meghan. Adoring great grandmother of Collin and Andrew Marcucci and Kaelyn and Alana Powell. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Best friend and companion of twenty years, Ed Callahan of Dedham, MA.

Family and friends will gather to remember and celebrate Adell's life in the McNamara Sparrell Funeral Home, 30 Central St., Norwell, MA on Monday, Oct. 25, 2010 from 10-11:30 a.m.

Service Information

A Funeral Mass will follow at 12 noon at St. Mary of the Nativity Church, 1 Kent St., Scituate Harbor, MA. Interment to follow at Washington Street Cemetery, Norwell, MA.
