Alexis A. Waitekaitis, age 23, of Norwell, passed away with family at her side on April 6, 2016 after a short and courageous battle with cancer. Alexis is the beloved daughter of Steven and Silvia Beck Waitekaitis and loving sister of Trevor Waitekaitis all of Norwell. Granddaughter of Willi and Elli Beck of Hingham and the late Richard and Carmela Waitekaitis. Loving niece of Robert Beck of Lancaster, Joanne Waitekaitis of Weymouth and Elaine DeJesus of New Smyrna Beach, FL. Also survived by many cousins and close friends.

Alexis was a graduate of Norwell High School and attended Florida Southern College. She was an avid horseback rider. Alexis had been working at Cask 'n Flagon Restaurant in Marshfield, where she had many friends.

Visiting hours Saturday, April 9, 2016 from 2-5 pm in McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, 30 Central St. (off Rt. 123, near State Police Barracks), Norwell Center, followed by a Service at 5 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to honor Alexis may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1324 Belmont St, Suite 204-101, Brockton, Massachusetts 02301 or to a No-kill Animal Shelter of your choice.
