Amelia Ruth Cheever, of Norwell, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday November 1st, 2014 at the age of 53. She was the loving wife of John P. Cheever and mother of Michelle and Nicole Cheever. She was the devoted daughter of Helen Cripps and the late Albert Cripps. She was both friend and sibling to Ali, Albert Jr., Margaret, Richard, John C., Stacie, and Pam Cripps.

Amelia was second in her graduating class at Middleboro High School, and attended Connecticut College with honors. She was co-president of JP Plastics in Bridgewater, MA where her passion for working with people truly shined. She was a devoted and caring mother who supported her children with grace, joy, and love. Amelia had a circle of close-knit friends who admired her sense of humor and keen insights. Together Amelia and John built a life they had always dreamed of, with more love between the two of them than some will see in a lifetime.

We remember and honor Amelia's exuberant, tenacious spirit on Saturday November 8th at 11 am in the McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home. All are welcome.
