Angelina M "Angie" Kelley (Marini), formerly of Cohasset, passed away December 1. Born 1929 in San Donato val di Comino, Italy to Carmine and Gaetana (Tocci) Marini, Angie immigrated to Newton, MA in 1941. Angie attended Our Lady's High School in Newton, then worked at Newton National Bank, where she met her future husband, William Edward Kelley. Married in 1954, they lived in Needham and Framingham, finally settling in Cohasset in 1966 where they raised their six children. Angie was a kindhearted soul, and was active in the community volunteering for many organizations including the Cohasset Knoll Nursing Home, Rosie's Place, and Cohasset Senior Center. Angie was an active parishioner at St. Anthony, teaching CCD and volunteering on the bereavement committee. Of late, Angie was a resident of Allerton House in Hingham. Angie is predeceased by her beloved husband William Kelley, and siblings Antonio Marini, Marguerite DeRubeis and Josephine Marini. She is survived by her children Kathleen Cimina (David) of Newton Square, PA, Susan Carter of Hull, William Anthony Kelley (Julia) of Scituate, Christine Viola (Anthony) of Hingham, Maureen McCarthy of Cohasset, and Victoria Grimes (William) of Cohasset. Beloved Mima to her grandchildren Kelley Carabasi (Eric), Kimberley McKee (Louis Porter), Kevin Cimina, Caroline Whoriskey (Peter), Shelley Carter, Jennifer Gurnon (Matthew), Sarah Lussier (Kevin), Michael, Madeline and Gabrielle Viola, Isabel and Katherine McCarthy, and Benjamin, Matthew and Angelina Grimes. Extra beloved Mima to her great grandchildren Quinn and Cooper Carabasi, Mae and Molly Porter, Luke, Taylor and Matthew Whoriskey, Haley and Margaret Gurnon, and James Lussier.
Friends and family are invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday, December 5 from 4 to 7pm at the McNamara-Sparrell Funeral home, 1 Summer Street, Cohasset, MA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, December 6 at 10am at St. Anthony Parish, 2 Summer Street, Cohasset, MA. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery, Cohasset.
