Ann P.B. Fitzgerald, age 97, of Cohasset, died peacefully with family by her side on August 8, 2016. Ann will be remembered for her gracious manner, intelligence, and for her appreciation of the little things in life. Beloved wife of the late William J. "Bill" Fitzgerald, Ann was the mother of Leslie A. Fallon of Cohasset and W. Kevin Fitzgerald of Revere, the grandmother of Catherine A. Fallon, R. Michael Fallon and Meaghan Fitzgerald Shaeffer, and the great-grandmother of Montana Shaeffer.

Ann was born in Media, PA and raised in Summit, NJ. She received a BA in Art from Wellesley College in 1940 and attended Katharine Gibbs Secretarial School in Boston. Ann had a great appreciation for art. She traveled extensively with Bill and, after Bill died in 1982, with her daughter Leslie. Ann enjoyed entertaining family and friends, reading, watching her PBS favorites, her "Stitch and Bitch" group as well as watching golf and the Red Sox. Ann was a member of the Cohasset Golf Club and Community Garden Club of Cohasset as well as The Beach Club and the Society of the Four Arts, both in Palm Beach, FL.

Interment was private. A Memorial Service will be held on Sept. 17th at 11:30 am in First Parish Church, 23 No. Main Street, Cohasset, MA. 02025. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Smile Train, 41 Madison Ave., 28th Floor, NY, NY 10010.
