Ann "Nancy" C. Barrett, age 78, of Cohasset, passed away on July 22, 2012. Nancy was the beloved sister of Katherine B. Becker and her husband, Joseph of Cohasset, and the late James and John Barrett. She is survived by her sisters - in - law, Beverly Barrett of Scituate and Eleanor "Betty" Barrett of New Jersey. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A graduate of Cohasset High School class of 1951 and Children's School of Nursing class of 1955-1, Nancy worked at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in NY, Children's Hospital, San Francisco, the North Bay PSRO in Marin County, and Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in Boston. In her retirement Nancy was a volunteer at the Cohasset Senior Center and served for several years on the Board of the Cohasset Housing Authority. An avid reader, Nancy loved books and belonged to book clubs
at the Paul Pratt Library and the Cohasset Senior Center.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, July 27, 2012 at 10:00 AM in St Anthony's Church, 10 Summer St, Cohasset MA 02025. Donations in her memory may be made to Cohasset Elders Affairs, 3 North Main Street, Cohasset, MA 02025 or to The Gift Account/Paul Pratt Library, 35 Ripley Road, Cohasset, MA 02025.
