Obituary

Anne Musmeci on January 1st, 2025 at age 90, passed away with her family lovingly at her side.

Anne was born and raised in Westwood and lived the remaining almost 70 years of her long, lovely life in Hull.

Anne had a remarkable love of community. She gave her energy and time to many presidential and board member positions at Hulls Girl Scouts, St. Mary's Sodality, CCD, CYO, PTO, Point Allerton Association, Hull Yacht Club, volunteered for over 25-years at Wellspring, 15 years in St Mary's Choir, Garden Club founder and past president 15-year Coordinator Boston's Jimmy Fund Scooper Bowl.

She is most Proud of Creating the "Daffodil Trail" a nearly 30-year effort to beautify the town, bringing smiles of joy and hope of spring to Hull.  Anne planted and sold over 250,000 daffodil bulbs. The Town of Hull Awarded Anne with a special Proclamation for her significant achievement in 2022.

Anne was predeceased by Richard "Dick" Musmeci, her beloved husband of 46 years.

She is survived by:

Her loving daughters Nancy Lee Darst, Karen Musmeci-Marriott, her adoring grandchildren Annie Darst, Richard Darst, his wife Christina, her precious great-granddaughter Ellie James, her sister Elizabeth Galeota, as well as many nieces and nephews.  She is predeceased by her 2 sons-in-laws Michael Darst, and William Marriott.

Rest in Peace Dear Anne, you touched the lives of many. You will be Missed, yet like the perennials you planted, never Forgotten. They will continue to bloom in your honor each passing year, "And then my heart with pleasure fills, And dances with the daffodils".

Services will be held on Saturday January 25th at 8:30 AM a Wake will be at St Anne's Church in Hull, followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:30 AM, services will conclude with a Burial at Hull Village Cemetery.
