Anne M. Quealy, formerly of Scituate, MA, died peacefully on March 3rd at age 86.  Anne was born on May 9, 1927 in Boston, MA and was the beloved daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Farrell of Dorchester, MA.

Anne attended St. Gregory's High School in Dorchester, MA and is a 1948 graduate of Emmanuel College in Boston, MA.  She married Vincent J. Quealy of Brookline, MA on October 12, 1949 and enjoyed a 57-year long marriage before Vincent's death in 2006.  She worked for many years in the administrative offices of Talbot's, Inc. and found much pleasure in her work arranging and coordinating travel schedules for the company's executive officers.

Anne Quealy is the beloved mother of Suzanne Ward of Melrose, MA and Scituate, MA; Virginia Dunphy of Milwaukee, WI and Scituate, MA; Vincent J. Quealy, Jr of Scituate, MA; Gerard Quealy of Yarmouth, MA; Anne M. Bartkiewicz of Sacramento, CA and Scituate, MA and Elizabeth Saunders of Scituate, MA.  Anne also had eleven grandchildren and five great-grand children and found her greatest pleasure in forging strong and close-knit ties as the family expanded throughout the years.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, March 10, 2014 at 10 am in St. Anthony Church, Cohasset, preceded by visiting hour from 9-10 am in McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, 1 Summer St. (across from St. Anthony Church), Cohasset. Visiting hours Sunday, March 9, 2014 from 2-4 pm in McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, Cohasset. Interment Holyhood Cemetery, Brookline, Ma. on Monday at 12 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Anne Quealy's name to Emmanuel College, Alumni Office, 400 Fenway, Boston, MA 02115.
