Audrey Elaine (Borden) Drummey, age 83, of Norwell, passed away after a short illness on Monday evening, August 3, 2015. She was predeceased by her partner of many years, William Mullen of Norwell. Audrey was an avid reader and cat lover. She had many close friends around town who always found a devoted listener and wonderful conversationalist at her kitchen table or on the phone. She brought joy to many who were so inspired by her strength in dealing with a lifetime of rheumatoid arthritis that never prevented her from living a rich and full life. Her positive and joyful attitude towards life was infectious and made her a good friend to all. She made others feel better simply by being herself. Audrey will be missed by all those who loved and were loved by her.

She is survived by her son John G. Drummey of FL, her daughter Lee A. Schluter and husband Kurt of Lebanon, ME, her granddaughter Carly A. White and husband Christopher of Abbot, ME, and their 2 month old daughter, Lillian A. White. She is also survived by her sister, Muriel Wallace and her husband Earl of Mashpee, MA. She was predeceased by her brothers Arnold, Cecil and Reid Borden.
