Barbara B. (Bullock) Meacham, age 92, of Norwell, passed away on February 4, 2012. Barbara was the beloved wife of the late Robert C. Meacham and the devoted mother of William R. of Fulton, NY, Bruce F. and his wife Tanya of Scituate, James S. of Mendocino, CA, and David R. of Norwell. She was sister to both the late Virginia Waters of Boxford and the late Florence Purnell of Quincy, and is survived by her sister Eleanor Sellar of Halifax. Barbara was the adoring grandmother of Jeffrey, Amanda, and Allison, and the great-grandmother of Grace Meacham and Jayden Morgan.
She was an active member of the First Parish Church of Norwell for over 65 years and served as President of the church Alliance for 18 years.
Out of respect for her wishes, there were no services. Her family thanks all who shared with her and cared for her during her lifetime. She was a great lady and will be missed.
