Barbara Anne (King) Garrity of Hull, MA, formerly of Duxbury passed away August 27th, 2014. She is the beloved mother of her daughters Lauren and Pamela Garrity. Barbara grew up in West Roxbury and is predeceased by her mother Anne Cartsunis and father John King and is survived by her brothers Dick and Paul King.

A devoted school teacher for 38 years, Barbara recently retired from teaching at Forestdale School, Sandwich. She leaves behind many loving friends, family, co-workers and students; as well as her loyal pets. Barbara loved art, travel, gardening, and kayaking. Her kindness and generosity will always inspire.

An open service will be held September 6, 2014 at 10 am at the First Parish Church, Cohasset, MA.
