Obituary
Barbara J.(Robischeau) Sieminski, age 85, a longtime resident of Scituate, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2015 after a brief illness. Barbara was the beloved wife of the late John Walter Sieminski and the last remaining daughter of the late Edward & Madge (Fuller) Robischeau of Scituate.
A selfless individual, Barbara dedicated herself to family and homemaking. Known for her gracious hospitality, Barbara had an endless stream of visitors who enjoyed her renowned cooking and baking skills, welcoming all for tea and spirited conversation. She was also known for her great sense of humor and often teased for her fondness of mocha almond ice cream. Devoted to her church, she volunteered for many years as a Lay Minister at St. Francis Xavier Cabrini church and was also an active member of the Parish of St. Anthony's. Barbara's kind spirit and smiling face always brightened the day of those she met.
Barbara is survived by her children, Leslie and Al Marino of Scituate, John "Mike" and Melissa Sieminski of Scituate, Mark and Susan Sieminski of Newton, Martha Sieminski of Scituate and her grandchildren, Eric and Sarah Gerfen, Jamie Sieminski and Samantha Sieminski.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday March 4, 2015 at 10 am in St. Anthony Church, Cohasset. Visiting hours Tuesday, March 3, 2015 from 3-7 pm in McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, 160 So. Main St. (across from St. Anthony Church), Cohasset, MA. 02025. Those who wish to send flowers may, but those who wish to send donations in honor of Barbara may do so to a charity of their choice.
