Beulah B. "Boo" Littlefield, 86, of Scituate, formerly of Abington, died Thursday (June 20). Born in Hartford, CT on September 11, 1926 to the late Dorothy Smith Blease and Douglas A. Blease of Wethersfield CT, she resided in Massachusetts for over 50 years. She attended Skidmore College and was a longtime employee of Talbots in Hingham Mass. She was a member of a number of political and civic organizations, however, she is most remembered for her passionate support of animals and animal causes. She is survived by her husband, A. Stanley Littlefield of Scituate Mass; three daughters, Jane Scherer of Wellfleet, Mass, Sarah Littlefield of Hingham, Mass, Polly Littlefield of Scituate, Mass; one grandchild Sam Scherer; and her beloved pet Wiley. Boo will be remembered at a private service in the fall in Nantucket. A fund is being established in her memory that will benefit her animal friends.
