Bruce A. Hunter, age 62, of Norwell, formerly of Weymouth, passed away April 15, 2010 surrounded by family. Bruce was the husband of Cindy A. (Cushen) and the father of Christine Hunter Jeas and her husband, Dean of New Hampshire; Annie L. Hunter of Weymouth; Candace Corthell and her husband, Larry of Plymouth; Bonnie L. Morrissey and her husband, Mike of Scituate; Brian D. Hunter of Norwell; Alison E. Hunter of Norwell. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.


Mr. Hunter was a welder for the Local 88 Sandhogs. He was an avid woodworker and had a great deal of interest in science and the universe.

Service Information

A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, April 20 at 1 pm in Church Hill Cemetery, Norwell, leaving from the McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, 30 Central St. (off Rt. 123, near State Police Barracks), Norwell Center at 12:30.
