Candis Lee (Stastny) Bush, 66 of Stuart, Florida passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2024 following a long battle with ALS.

She was born on November 14, 1957 in Boston, MA and spent her childhood growing up in Scituate with her many cousins and friends. She attended Notre Dame Academy in Hingham graduating in 1976 and went on to Fisher College In Boston Mass. Her creativity had no bounds. Among her many creative talents, she was a painter, and jewelry artisan who created beautiful jewelry from shells she collected on Florida beaches.

Candis was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Claire (Reilly) Stastny, of Scituate, MA and brother William Stastny, of Stuart FL. She is survived by her brother, Richard Stastny of Aventura, FL, sister-in-law Cathy Stastny, and Niece Kelsey Stastny both of Stuart FL.

Candis was one in a million. Her kindness, sense of humor, and zest for life brought a smile to everyone she met. She will be missed by all.
