Carl J. Young,  Jr., a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on May 14, 2024, at the age of eighty-two.

Carl was born in Brighton, MA on August 12, 1941, to Carl and Mollie Young. On October 8, 1966, Carl married the love of his life, Ginny Canty. They settled in Waban, MA raising five children, C.J., Carolyn, Jennifer, Jeffrey and Christian.

He was a proud Triple Eagle graduating from Boston College High School, Boston College, and Boston College Law School.  In 1966, he began his lengthy and successful law career. Carl was a long-term member of the Brae Burn Country Club and a true golf enthusiast.

Carl is survived by his loving wife of 58 years Ginny; his five children and their spouses, C.J. and Kristen Young of Needham, MA, Carolyn and Gianluigi Veglia of Minneapolis, MN, Jennifer and Mark Watts of Medfield, MA, Jeffrey and Jessica Young of Needham, MA, and Christian and Jane Young of Naples, FL; and his thirteen grandchildren who adored him: Matteo, Jac, Kate, Elisa, Gianmarco, Caden, Taylor, Connor, Maddie, Sydney, Cole, Sabina, and Cora.  He is also survived by his six siblings: Ann, Alice, Thomas, Richard, Steve and Kevin and the late Michael and Robert.

Mass of Christian Burial in celebration of Carl's life will be held on Friday May 24, 2024, at 10:30am at The Church of the Most Precious Blood on 30 Centre Street Dover, MA  02030. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury, MA.
