Cecile C. (Bean) Boyce, age 83, of Norwell, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2016 after a long illness. She was born in Boston on April 7, 1932, daughter of Harry and Mary Bean. She was predeceased by her childhood sweetheart and loving husband of 60 years, Edwin J. Boyce.

Cecile was a graduate of Charlestown High School, Class of 1950. She loved painting, crafts, and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her son, Kevin Boyce of Canton, his wife Clare, and her grandsons, Trevor and Cameron. Cecile was the sister of Mary Sullivan and her husband Walter of Scituate, Barbara Fennell of Hanover and her late husband Thomas Fennell, and a brother, Harry "Eddie" Bean Jr. and his wife Barbara of Prairie Village, Kansas, and the late Robert "Bobby" Bean. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

She will be remembered for her indomitable spirit, optimism, and sense of humor. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
