Charles L. Levendoski

Charles L. (Charlie) Levendoski, 83, of Scituate passed away on October 4, 2026 at the Cardigan Nursing Home after a brief illness.

Born in Brookline, MA in 1943, he was the only child of Leo and Phyllis Levendoski, he graduated from Scituate High School in 1961. He served 6 years in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War as an Airman second class.

After an honorable discharge from the service, Charlie spent many years working for the Town of Scituate and fondly remembers his time as custodian at Wampatuck Elementary School.

As he aged, Charlie received many years of loving care at home with services provided by the VA, Senior Helpers, and devoted neighbors. He referred to his caregivers as “Charlie’s Angels.”

Charles and his family were devoted parishioners of St Mary of the Nativity Church.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday October 14, at  9am at St Mary of the Nativity in Scituate Harbor. 

Burial will follow at the MA National Cemetery in Bourne.
