Charles N. Schow, age 90, of Norwell, passed away at home on January 2, 2013. Beloved husband of the late Barbara J. (Knell) and devoted father of C. Raymond Schow and wife, Catherine A. of Hanson. Loving grandfather of Marcia Pearson of Somerville, Paul Schow of Hanson, Deborah Ondrasik, MD of San Antonio, TX, and Mark Schow of China. Brother of Esther MacWilliam of Canada, Walter Schow of Quincy and the late Edward Schow. Also survived by six great-grandchildren.

Mr. Schow was a lifelong Boston Bruins Fan and was in the Gallery Gods. He worked as a Union Carpenter, Local 33, for his entire career and was a member of the VFW Post 9813. He served in the US Navy, during World War II.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 from 4-7 pm in McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, 30 Central St. (off Rt. 123, near State Police Barracks), Norwell Center. A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at 11:30 am  in the V.A. Mass. National Cemetery, Connery Ave., Bourne, MA. In lieu of flowers, donations to honor Mr. Schow may be made to the Norwell VNA and Hospice, 120 Longwater Dr., Norwell, MA. 02061.
