Charles Torrey Smith III, age 62, of Boston, formerly of Cohasset, passed away suddenly June 16, 2012. Survived by his fiancé Karen Robinson. Son of Mary E. and the late Charles T. Smith II. Beloved father of Jonathan and wife Julie Mullin of Quincy and Charles T. and Moira Brady of Braintree. Loving brother of Michael J. of Tewksbury, Peter R. of Sharon, Timothy M. of Winchester, and Sister M. Bridget of Cohasset he is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephew and extended family and friends.

Charles was born October, 28, 1949 in Boston, Ma. He grew up in Cohasset, Ma. Graduated from Cohasset high school and received a BS from Boston State.  He was the Owner and President of the Smith Companies, LTD. Member of the Boston Club, University Club, Cohasset Golf Club and other associations. He also served in the National Guard.

Visiting hours will be at the McNamara-Sparrell funeral home, 1 Summer Street (across from St. Anthony Church), Cohasset, Saturday June 23rd From 6-8 PM and Sunday June 24th from 2-6 PM. A funeral mass will be held Monday June 25th, 11:30 AM, at St. Anthony's Church Cohasset with internment at Cohasset Central Cemetery
