Christopher P. Bowker of Scituate, Massachusetts died surrounded by his family on March 12, 2016. For 46 years, he was the loving husband of Virginia O'Hara. He was the son of the late Mary and Arnold Bowker of Scituate.

He is the proud father of four children and their spouses: Drs. Mary and Andrew Dunn of Austin, Texas, Anne and Dr. Shehzad Azmi of Memphis, Tennessee, Christopher and Julie Bowker of Scituate, MA, and Jane and Tim Finocchio of Holbrook, MA. He is survived by 6 grandchildren: Madeleine and Alexandra Dunn, Zachary Azmi, and Paul, Mary, and Hugh Bowker. Also he is survived by his siblings, Arnold (Joe) Bowker Jr., Cornelia Shea, and Faith Maloney all of Scituate.

Mr. Bowker graduated from Scituate High School, and earned a B.S. from Northeastern University and an M.B.A. from Babson College. He proudly served in the United States Navy on the USS Collette. He was active in the local community and served on the Scituate School Committee for six years, serving as its chairman for two. He was a member of the Scituate Harbor Yacht Club, Veterans of Foreign Wars of Scituate, and American Legion of Cohasset.

His life will be celebrated in a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anthony's Church in Cohasset, MA at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 with reception to follow in the parish hall. Visiting hours are omitted, and there will be a private interment.
