Claire L. (Just) Lortie, age 93, of Norwell, formerly of Fall River, passed away on October 13, 2025 at home. Claire was the loving wife of the late Gerard R. Lortie. Loving mother of Gerard Lortie and partner Leslie Rollins of Melvin Village, NH and Anne Marie Real and her husband Brian of Fredericksburg, VA. She was the loving grandmother of Briana and Colleen Real.

Claire was born and raised in Fall River where she attended Sacred Heart Academy, graduating in 1949. In 1951, Claire graduated from Thibodeau Business School and worked for the Fall River Herald News and retired from Quincy Fire and Health Insurance. She was a devoted parish member of St. Helen's Church.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2025 at 10 am in Our Lady of the Angels -St. Mary Church, 392 Hanover Street, Hanover, MA. 02339. A Visiting Hour will be held on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2025 from 8:30-9:30 am in McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, 30 Central Street, Norwell, MA. 02061. Interment Washington Street Cemetery, Norwell, MA.
