Claire C. (Nichols) Keiran, 89, of Cohasset, formerly of Scituate, a woman of faith, strength and courage, passed peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2017 surrounded by her children.

Born and raised in Mission Hill, she is predeceased by her husband Hugh A. Keiran. She is survived by her six loving children, Capt. Alan Keiran and his wife Sally, Diane Keiran, Jean Livingstone and her husband Bill, David Keiran and his wife Lisa, Lyn-Ann Smith and her husband Tracy, Brian Keiran and his wife Christine, 17 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, Sept. 29, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the Parish of St. Anthony, 10 Summer Street in Cohasset, MA to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Expressions of sympathy can be made in her name to Project ALS or South Shore VNA & Hospice. Interment Cudworth Cemetery, Scituate.
