D. Joyce (Stephenson) McCulloch, age 81, of Scituate, passed away peacefully with family at her side after a long illness on May 25, 2012. Beloved wife of Frank W. McCulloch, Lt. Col. US Army, Ret., and loving mother of Stephanie McCulloch of Boston, Michael McCulloch of Michigan, Cecelia Grannan of Arizona, Marian Pitts of NH, Cynthia Harrington of Weymouth, MA., Jamie McCulloch and Lorraine McCulloch Wood both of NH, Leslie Duncanson of California, Marisa McCulloch of Beirut, Lebanon and the late Timothy McCulloch.  She is also survived by her sisters Gloria Long, Ann Anderson and Barbara Stephenson as well as 17 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Joyce was a dedicated homemaker and a loving mother. She attended school in Boston. Joyce was an avid gardener, artist and a member of the Bowling League at Scituate Alleys.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, June 1, 2012 at 10 am in St. Mary of the Nativity Church, 1 Kent St., Scituate Harbor. Interment Mass. V.A. National Cemetery, Bourne on Friday, June 1 at 1 pm. Visiting hours omitted. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Scituate Council on Aging, 27 Brook St., Scituate, MA. 02066.
