David Coyne, beloved husband of the recently deceased Nancy Cole Coyne, father and grandfather, passed away on April 28, surrounded by his children.

David served in the US Navy on the USS Cromwell as a radioman. He worked for over 35 years in the Fire Alarm Industry. He was certified as a Master Electrician in the City of Boston.

David is survived by his son Michael Coyne of Scituate, his son David and his wife Tracy Coyne of Scituate, his son Greg and wife Jada Coyne of Marshfield and his daughter Lisa Coyne and significant other Michael Cooney of Scituate. He leaves behind sister-in-law Jessica Minehan Morrell of Scituate; niece Shirley Parkhurst and companion Rick Staples, nephew Jerome Minehan of Scituate and niece Tracey Leahy of Scituate.

He now joins his beloved deceased: parents Thomas and Mildred Coyne; brother Michael Coyne of New Mexico; sister in law Shirley Maness Monahan and nephew Richard Minehan.

He will be greatly missed by his seven adoring grandchildren: Tayen and Siena Coyne, of Scituate, Grace, Cole and Sean Coyne of Scituate and Riley and Casey Coyne of Marshfield. They will forever miss their Gwumpa who filled their days with interesting talks and funny stories.

Service Information

His burial service will be held on Friday May 6th at 4pm at Union Cemetery, in Scituate. All are welcome.

Immediately following the ceremony, family and friends are invited to a celebration of Davids life at 17 Elm Park in Scituate.
