David "Dave" Doyle of Plymouth, formerly of Scituate, loving son of Carolyn and Robert, was born on October 5, 1979 has sadly passed away peacefully on June 28, 2022. He was a devoted brother of Shannon Tobin and her husband Ted of Scituate, and Robert Doyle and his wife Karen of Duxbury, and loving and cherished Uncle of Maggie Tobin, Evelyn Tobin, Signe Tobin, Grace Doyle, and Aubrey Doyle. He graduated Scituate High School in 1998 and went on to become a dedicated Lead Foreman for Sea & Shore Contracting.

Dave was a wonderful guy with a determined inclination towards challenges. He never took the easy route, and this was especially evident in his choice of dogs, to whom he was infinitely devoted. No matter how seemingly chaotically they presented, David was a loyal friend and caregiver, never giving up and sharing with them his truly soft core. With people, David may have seemed tough at first — but as his sister Shannon says he really is "a marshmallow of a guy" — and those who had the privilege of breaking through his hard exterior remember someone who would have given the shirt off his back for a friend. In fact, to his nieces, he was known as "Uncle Fluffy." To know David was to feel strongly about David, and he never left a room without making someone belly laugh. To say he will be loved and missed is an understatement. Rest in peace, you are, and always will be, one of our most favorite people

A visitation will take place at the McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home-1 Summer Street, Cohasset on Wednesday, July 6th from 4-7PM. Relatives and friends invited to attend. Funeral Services are private.
