David C. Dwyer, age 75, of Scituate, passed away on June 7, 2015. Beloved husband of Deirdra (Leonard) Dwyer and loving father of Glenn Dwyer and wife Heidi of VT., Rebecca Gagnon and husband David of NH., and Linda Smith of NH. Brother of Constance Andrews of VA., and Phillip Dwyer of Duxbury, MA. Grandfather of Madeline Dwyer, Gunnar Gruelle, Margaret Gruelle, and Andrew Smith.
David was a truck owner and drove for Refrigeration Food Express and Sea Land Trucking. He worked as a driver and diesel mechanic for Boston Sand and Gravel. He also worked for James Grant Construction and Demolition, as well as John Grant Demolition in Braintree. He was accomplished in car and truck restorations and was a Harley Davidson enthusiast. The Dwyer family would like to thank the wonderful staff at the Cardigan Nursing Home, Scituate for their care of David.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, June 12, 2015 at 10 am in St. Mary of the Nativity Church, 1 Kent St., Scituate Harbor. Visiting hours Thursday, June 11, 2015 from 4-8 pm in McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, 160 So. Main St. (across from St. Anthony Church on Summer St.), Cohasset, MA. 02025. Interment Old Saint Mary Cemetery, Scituate.
