David W. Wilson, age 65, of Cohasset, passed away suddenly on April 30, 2013. He graduated from Univ. of Rochester in 1969 and after serving in Volunteers in Service to America ("VISTA") from 1969-1974, he received his Master's in Business Administration from the Univ. of Rochester in 1976. He was employed by the Eastman Kodak Company of Rochester, NY from 1976 until his retirement in 2006. While at Kodak, Mr. Wilson served in a variety of senior executive positions, including postings in London, Nairobi, Seoul, and Stockholm, before returning to Rochester as Vice President and Director of Global Logistics.

His charitable endeavors included serving on the board of the Rochester Philharmonic, and his long standing board membership of the Rochester Institute of Technology's American College of Management and Technology, Dubrovnik, Croatia, and the American College of Management in Zagreb, Croatia.

He was a member of The Royal Ocean Racing Club, London, The Royal London Yacht Club, Isle of Wight, and the Muthaiga Club of Nairobi, Kenya. He was an avid sailor and participated in many oceanic races including the Newport to Bermuda Race, and most notably the Fastnet Race of 1979.

Mr. Wilson is survived by his loving wife, Jennifer, two sons, Alexander and Jack, and brother Jonathan and sister in law, Lisa of Hingham, MA.

A Memorial Service will be celebrated on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at 10 am in St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, Highland Ave., Cohasset.  In lieu of flowers, donations to honor Mr. Wilson may be made to the Jimmy Fund, 44 Binney St., Boston, MA. 02115.
